Lee Skallerup Bessette transitioned from a PhD in Comparative Literature into a career as a learning design specialist. She currently works at Georgetown University. What has she found surprises her the most about her career? She has found that she still gets to be an academic, read, and conduct research, and she feels fulfilled doing it.
